Memorial Day

We had a great Memorial Day weekend. Sunday we enjoyed the day in Camarillo at Dodd's parent's house. We got to visit with them and Eric and Shelsi. Uncle Eric has a new PS3 which he and Jake played all day. Dodd had the day off on Monday so we decided to ride our bikes to my sister Tammy's for a BBQ. Jesse came with us for the 3+ mile trip. All of the kids did so good!! I am amazed that Jake, our 3 year old, did so well. We were prepared to call for backup if needed but he made it the whole way!!

The circus is in town

Today we went with our friends, Veronica, Ricky, and Nicolas to the circus. We had a great time. Brooke got her face painted and she looked beautiful!! Jake liked the clowns and Brooke loved the lady doing tricks on the rings really high in the air. Hopefully she won't try any new death defying acts on her rings in the backyard! Some of the stunts were so dangerous I had a hard time watching, but it was a fun day and I am glad we went.

My little Geocachers

One of our family's favorite activities is geocaching. (www.geocaching.com) My kids love looking for "treasure boxes" which sometimes have little toys inside to trade. This is a great one we found today!!! It is in Santa Paula, next to this new fountain. The kids had a blast pushing the giant ball that is floating on water.
