Come Join the Barnyard Fun....

Old MacMicah is turning one! We had Micah's birthday party on Saturday. We did the party a week after his birthday to give Dodd more time to finish his house projects. He worked really hard to have the house finished and ready for the party. We had a great turn out with about 50 friends and family here. One of our neighbors is raising a goat for the fair and was nice enough to bring it to the party to complete our farm theme. We had lots fun and are so happy to have a little one year old walking around here.

Spring Break

I am playing catch up. For Spring Break this year we went camping in Carpenteria. Dodd's family did this when he was growing up and it is one of his fond childhood memories. We went with some friends from our ward, which made it even better. I do have to admit I wimped out one night and brought the baby home to sleep. So nice. It was freezing out there! A plus to camping close to home!
The kids loved riding bikes, painting rocks, and smores. We got one good beach day, and even saw dolphins. Here are completely too many pictures of our fun!

The life consuming project that is our house is showing signs of ending...sort of. I do have a kitchen sink, I couldn't be more happy! The granite guys finished up the kitchen counters today and will soon come back to finish the last bathroom. There is still molding, baseboard and painting to do, but the major things are done. A few more weeks we should be good!
